Oman condemns Israeli targeting of Qatari Gaza Reconstruction Committee

The Sultanate of Oman has condemned the targeting of the headquarters of the Qatari Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza by Israeli occupation forces.

In an official statement Oman's Foreign Ministry expressed the Sultanate's solidarity with the State of Qatar.

The statement said that this attack in Gaza is a new and blatant violation of international law and a continuation of the brutal Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, demonstrating its blatant disregard for human feelings and international humanitarian law.

It added that the Israeli aggression requires the international community to take legal measures to secure the international will to achieve a ceasefire, protect civilians and provide relief to the residents of the Gaza Strip to meet their needs for fuel, water, food and medicine, as well as reconstruction.
