Royal Decree ratifies tax agreement between Oman and Egypt

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik today issued a Royal Decree ratifying an agreement between the governments of the Sultanate of Oman and the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Decree No. 43/2023 deals with the elimination of double taxation for income tax, as well as the prevention of tax evasion. It follows up on an agreement signed in Cairo during His Majesty's visit in May and subsequently presented to the Shura Council.
