Diplomatic Undersecretary chairs meeting of NCCHT

The National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking (NCCHT) met today, chaired by Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs and Chairman of the NCCHT.

The regular meeting, held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was attended by representatives of the member agencies of the committee.

The meeting reviewed the work of the Committee and discussed developments in the implementation of the National Action Plan to Combat Human Trafficking in Oman. The members also reviewed ongoing activities to raise awareness of the importance of tackling the crime of human trafficking.
