Oman sends sympathies to Iraq over wedding fire
The Foreign Ministry has sent the sympathy of the Sultanate of Oman to the Government and people of the Republic of Iraq over a fire that broke out in a wedding hall in the town of Al Hamdaniya in northern Iraq.
More than 100 people were killed and 150 injured in the fire at a wedding party in Iraq's Nineveh province.
The Foreign Ministry statement sent Oman's sincere condolences to the families of the victims along with its wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured.
