His Majesty the Sultan receives credentials of Saudi Ambassador
His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik received this morning at the Al Barakah Palace the credentials of Abdullah Saud al-Anzi, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
During his meeting with His Majesty, the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques along with his best wishes of good health, happiness, and long life for His Majesty the Sultan and the Omani people as well as continuous progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Majesty. He also expressed his great honour and utmost delight to present his credentials to His Majesty the Sultan.
He affirmed to exert all his efforts to elevate the relations between his country and the Sultanate in various spheres in a manner that serves the joint interests of the brotherly Omani and Saudi peoples.
His Majesty the Sultan welcomed the ambassador, expressing his thanks for the greetings and best wishes from King Salman. His Majesty affirmed to the ambassador that he would receive all support from His Majesty, the Government and the Omani people to facilitate carrying out his duties.
The credentials presentation ceremony was attended by the Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, the Foreign Minister, the Commander of the Royal Guard of Oman (RGO), the Head of the Royal Protocols and Military Aides to His Majesty the Sultan.
