His Majesty offers condolences to Emir of Kuwait
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik today offered condolences to Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmed Al Jabir Al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait; the Al Sabah Family and the people of Kuwait on the death of the late Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmed Al Jabir Al Sabah.
His Majesty the Sultan offered his condolences when Sheikh Mishal received His Majesty at the Emiri Airport.
During the meeting, His Majesty expressed his sincere and heartfelt sympathies on the immense loss, praying to the Almighty Allah to have mercy on his soul, to rest him in peace and grant the Al Sabah Family and the people of Kuwait fortitude to bear the loss.
The Emir of Kuwait expressed his deep thanks and appreciation for His Majesty the Sultan and his accompanying delegation for their sympathies. He prayed to the Almighty Allah to protect His Majesty the Sultan, grant him continued good health and spare the Omani people all harm.
His Majesty the Sultan was accompanied during condolence offering by an official delegation comprising: His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers; His Highness Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham Al Said; His Highness Sayyid Taimour Asaad Al Said, Chairman of Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nomani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sheikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council; Sayyid Hamood bin Faisal bin Said Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior; Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister; Dr Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Harrasi, Minister of Information; Sayyid Faisal bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, Advisor at the Diwan of Royal Court and Dr Saleh Amer Alkharusi, Oman's Ambassador to Kuwait.
