His Majesty visits Bahrain Economic Development Board

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik today visited the Bahrain Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB) as part of his official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Upon the arrival of His Majesty at the premises of Bahrain EDB, he was received by Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Economic Development Board. His Majesty was also received by Bahraini ministers and senior officials of Bahrain EDB. The Crown Prince of Bahrain welcomed His Majesty the Sultan and the accompanying delegation.

Then, His Majesty watched a visual display about the Bahrain Economic Development Board presented by Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Minister of Finance and National Economy, who outlined the role of the Board in enhancing the performance of the Bahraini economy. The presentation highlighted the relentless efforts exerted by Bahrain EDB to promote the portfolio of Bahrain in various global markets and to attract investment to achieve Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.

His Majesty commended the efforts made by those in charge of the Bahrain Economic Development Board. He wished the leadership of the Kingdom of Bahrain success in realizing the nation’s aspirations.
