His Majesty the Sultan sends a written message to the Emir of Qatar

His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has sent a written message to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar. The message deals with bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest.

The message was handed over by HH Sayyid Fatik bin Fahr Al Said, Special Envoy of His Majesty the Sultan, when he was received by the Qatari Monarch at the Emiri Diwan in Doha today.

During the meeting, HH Sayyid Fatik conveyed greetings from His Majesty the Sultan to Sheikh Tamim, along with His Majesty's best wishes of permanent health and happiness to him. He also conveyed His Majesty's greetings to the Qatari people and his wishes for their further progress and prosperity .

Sheikh Tamim in turn asked HH Sayyid Fatik to convey his greetings and best wishes to His Majesty the Sultan and the Omani people.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Jassim Hamad Al Thani, Personal Representative of the Emir, Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Chief of the Amiri Diwan, and Najeeb Yahya Al Balushi, Ambassador of Oman to Qatar.
