His Majesty sends written message to President of Tanzania
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a written message to Her Excellency Samia Hassan Soloho, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, regarding bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and peoples.
The message was delivered by Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, when the Tanzanian President received His Excellency today at the Presidential Palace in Zanzibar.
During the meeting, the Foreign Minister conveyed the greetings of His Majesty the Sultan to the President and his good wishes for her continued health and happiness and for progress and prosperity for the friendly Tanzanian people.
For her part, the Tanzanian President asked the Minister to convey her sincere greetings and appreciation to His Majesty the Sultan and her best wishes to His Majesty and the Omani people for continued progress and prosperity.
The meeting emphasised the strength of bilateral relations between the two countries and the common interest in continuing cooperation in various fields that benefit the two friendly peoples. A number of regional and international developments of common interest were also discussed.
The meeting was attended by Liberta Mulamula, Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of the United Republic of Tanzania, the delegation accompanying the Foreign Minister and a number of officials from the Tanzanian side.
