His Majesty receives the Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received Lawrence Wong, Singapore's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, at his residence in the capital.

They discussed ways to further consolidate relations between Oman and Singapore and how to benefit from economic developments in both countries. They also talked about matters of mutual concern.

The meeting was attended from the Omani side by Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister; Dr Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion; and Engineer Salem bin Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals.

Singapore was represented by Dr Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman, Minister, Prime Minister's Office, Second Minister for Education and Second Minister for Foreign Affairs, and other officials.
