His Majesty receives phone call from French President

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received a phone call this afternoon from President Emmanuel Macron of the French Republic.

President Macron expressed his gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty for Oman's efforts in facilitating the understandings between France and the Islamic Republic of Iran, which resulted in the release of a French citizen and his return to his country. President Macron also appreciated Oman's efforts in the region.

The call also reviewed relations between the two countries and regional issues of mutual interest.
