His Majesty receives message from President of Kazakhstan

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has received a written message from President Kassym Jomart Tokayev of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The message was handed over to His Highness Sayyid Asa'ad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, when he received in his office today Mukhtar Tileuberdi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, the guest conveyed the greetings and best wishes of the Kazakh President to His Majesty and the Omani people.

Sayyid Asa’ad in turn asked the visiting minister to convey the greetings and best wishes of His Majesty to President Tokayev and the people of Kazakhstan.

The meeting discussed relations between the two countries and ways to promote them in various fields. It also reviewed matters of mutual interest.

The meeting was attended by Oman's Foreign Minister. Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, the Secretary General and two advisors from the office of His Highness Sayyid Asa’ad, as well as the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Oman and members of the delegation accompanying the guest.
