His Majesty receives GCC Foreign Ministers

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Al Said received this evening at the Al-Barakah Palace the Foreign Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Council,

During the meeting, they reviewed the ongoing developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories. His Majesty emphasised the need to intensify regional and international efforts to halt the escalation in violence and to provide protection for civilians.

His Majesty also touched on the progress of joint Gulf work, fruitful cooperation and coordination between the GCC countries, discussing ways to advance it for the benefit of the peoples of the GCC states.

The Foreign Ministers of the GCC countries conveyed the greetings and good wishes of their leaders to His Majesty and to the Sultanate of Oman, wishing for continued progress and prosperity under His Majesty's wise leadership.

His Majesty conveyed his good wishes to the leaders of the GCC countries through the Foreign Ministers, wishing the peoples of their brotherly countries further progress and prosperity.
