His Majesty receives credentials of Foreign Ambassadors
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received one by one the credentials of nine new Ambassadors to the Sultanate of Oman in a ceremony at Al Baraka Palace.
Aidarbek Tumatov, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan, appointed by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
Francisco Javier de Isturiz Simonet, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain, appointed by King Felipe VI.
Bashir Hassan Hagi, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia, appointed by President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
Rashad Ismayilov, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan, appointed by President Ilham Heydar Aliyev.
Nabil Hajlaoui, Ambassador of the French Republic, appointed by President Emmanuel Macron.
Agis Loizou, Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus, appointed by President Nikos Christodoulides.
Abdi Aden Korio, Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya, appointed by President William Ruto.
Tharwah Hamad Neimat, Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan appointed by King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein.
Ibrahim bin Saad bin Bishan, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, appointed by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The Ambassadors conveyed greetings from their respective leaders to His Majesty, expressing their honour and pleasure in presenting their credentials. They voiced their hopes for a successful mission that would foster mutual interests between their nations and Oman.
They also affirmed their commitment to strengthen cooperation, investment and partnerships across all sectors in the service of the shared aspirations of their peoples and the Omani people.
His Majesty warmly welcomed the Ambassadors, appreciating the greetings and good wishes from their leaders. He extended his best wishes for their success in fulfilling their duties and hoped they would enjoy a fulfilling experience during their time in Oman, assuring them of the full support of the Omani government to facilitate their work and achieve mutually beneficial goals.
The credentials ceremony was attended by the Minister of the Royal Office, General Sultan Mohammed Al Nomani; Oman's Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi; the Commander of the Royal Guard of Oman; the Chief of Royal Protocol and the military escorts of His Majesty.
