His Majesty receives call from Canadian Prime Minister

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Al Said received a phone call from Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

His Majesty thanked Mr Trudeau for his interest in the current situation in the Palestinian territories. Sultan Haitham stressed the importance of stopping Israel's military operations in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, protecting civilians and giving humanitarian aid the highest priority.

During the call, His Majesty and the Prime Minister also reviewed areas of cooperation between Oman and Canada and exchanged views on a number of other issues of common interest.
