His Majesty leaves Manama
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik left the Kingdom of Bahrain this evening after an official two-day visit during which he met with King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa of Bahrain.
His Majesty was seen off at Al Sakhir Airbase by the King of Bahrain, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, members of Bahrain’s royal family and Bahraini officials.
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a cable of thanks to King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa of Bahrain following his two-day visit, in which His Majesty expressed his sincere appreciation to King Hamad for the warm welcome and hospitality.
His Majesty lauded the opportunity offered meeting with King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa to review bilateral relations and how to enhance them in a manner that cements cooperation in various spheres.
His Majesty the Sultan prayed to Allah the Almighty to protect King Hamad and to grant him good health, wellbeing, a long life and to achieve for the Bahraini people aspirations of further progress and prosperity under the King’s wise leadership.
His Majesty was accompanied during the visit by a high ranking official delegation comprising His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nomani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Interior; Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister; Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance and Sayyid Faisal bin Hareb Al Busaidi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
