His Majesty and Tanzanian President hold bilateral meeting

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and President Samia Suluhu Hassan of the United Republic of Tanzania held a bilateral meeting at the Al Alam Palace this morning.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to support and enhance them in various fields to serve the common interests of their peoples. They also reviewed a number of matters of concern to both sides.

From the Omani side, the meeting was attended by Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister as well as the Head of His Majesty's Private Office. From the Tanzanian side the meeting was attended by Ambassador Mabrouk Nasser Mabrouk, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, and Sospeter Matwali, Private Secretary of the President.
