His Majesty and Emir of Kuwait hold fraternal meeting

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, held a fraternal meeting at the Bayan Palace in the capital city, Kuwait.

During the meeting, the two leaders continued discussing aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries to serve the fraternal relations between the Omani and Kuwaiti peoples and meet their aspirations towards further prosperity, progress and welfare.

The fraternal meeting was attended from the Omani side by: His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; His Highness Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham Al Said; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nomani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior; Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister; Dr Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; Abdussalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, President of the Oman Investment Authority; Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion; and Dr Saleh Amer Alkharusi, Oman's Ambassador to Kuwait.

From Kuwait it was attended by: Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al Hammad Al Sabah (Head of the Mission of Honour) and Dr Mohammed bin Nassir Al Hajri, Kuwait's Ambassador to Oman.
