Foreign Ministry advises against travel to Bangladesh

Due to the current security situation in the People's Republic of Bangladesh, the Foreign Ministry wishes to inform Omani citizens that it is currently not advisable to visit.

The Ministry urges citizens currently in Bangladesh to contact the Omani Embassy in Dhaka in case of emergencies at the following numbers: (+880) 18 1124 1175 and (+880) 16 0118 8566.

Citizens currently in Bangladesh are also advised to register with the Embassy through the Ministry's pilot smartphone application. For more information about the application and how to download it please click here.
