Geneva: Oman demands end to aggressive Israeli crimes
The Sultanate of Oman has reiterated its demand for the need to compel the Israeli occupation to stop the aggressive crimes, genocide and forced displacement of civilians in the occupied Palestinian territories and Lebanon.
Ambassador Sheikh Humaid Almaani, Chairman of the Omani Committee for International Humanitarian Law, stated at the 34th Conference of the International Committee of the Red Cross and Red Crescent in Geneva that Oman is committed to upholding international humanitarian law and promoting awareness of its principles and objectives.
He emphasised the importance of addressing the humanitarian issues facing many regions of the world and enforcing international humanitarian law.
The Conference focuses on five key resolutions aimed at proposing humanitarian solutions to global challenges and addressing urgent humanitarian issues, including compliance with international humanitarian law, the protection of civilians and aid workers, the impact of digital technologies on warfare, and the empowerment of humanitarian action.
