Foreign Minister welcomes GCC Korea trade agreement

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr, has welcomed the signing of a free trade agreement between the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Republic of South Korea.

The agreement represents a significant step towards achieving Gulf economic integration and strengthening economic and trade relations between the GCC and South Korea.

In a comment on X (formerly Twitter), Sayyid Badr said the agreement draws a comprehensive plan to enhance trade and investment in all areas.

The agreement was signed by Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council and Dukgeun Ahn, Korean Minister of Trade.

Oman's Ambassador to Korea, Zakariya Hamed Hilal Alsaadi, participated in the signing ceremony.
