Foreign Minister reviews regional developments with Russian Foreign Minister

Oman's Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, received a phone call from Sergei Lavrov, Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, during which they discussed current developments in the region and their repercussions.

The Ministers agreed on the importance of stopping the cycle of violence and aggression and on resorting to the peace option based on fair law and international legitimacy.

They also discussed other regional developments, especially those related to the efforts made to achieve consensus between the Syrian parties.

They also reviewed the relations of friendship and cooperation between Oman and Russia and ways to develop them in the economic, commercial, cultural and scientific fields.
