Foreign Minister receives US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, received this evening Barbara Leaf, US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs.

During the meeting, bilateral relations between the two friendly countries were discussed and strengthened. Views were also exchanged on a number of regional and international issues of common interest, with an emphasis on efforts to strengthen the pillars of security and stability in the region and the world.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Khalid Almuslahi, Head of the Minister's Office Department; Leslie M. Tsou, the US Ambassador to Oman and a number of officials from both sides.
