Foreign Minister receives UN Special Envoy for Syria

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi,  received today in Muscat Geir Pedersen, the UN Special Envoy for Syria. During the meeting the two sides exchanged views on the efforts being exerted to reach a consensual solution to the Syrian crisis, that meets the legitimate aspirations of the brotherly Syrian people.

The meeting was attended by Khalid Almuslahi, Head of the Minister’s Office Department, Mahmoud bin Khamis Alhinai, supervisor of the Arab East Department and Sasha Bebigner, special assistant to the UN envoy for Syria.
