Foreign Minister receives phone call from UK Shadow Foreign Secretary

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, received a phone call from David Lammy, the UK Shadow Foreign Secretary.

During the call they discussed the tragic events taking place as a result of Israeli military and security operations against the Palestinian territories and the Gaza Strip.

They shared their deep concern about the continued violence, the casualties among children and civilians and the destruction of buildings and infrastructure.

They agreed that stopping this escalation was an urgent priority as well as allowing the flow of relief and humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip and preventing further human suffering by stopping the targeting of civilians and innocent people in illegal military operations.

They also agreed on the importance of a just political solution to the Palestinian issue based on the rules of international law.
