Foreign Minister receives Indian National Security Adviser

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi received Ajit Doval, India's National Security Adviser, during his official visit to the Sultanate.

The meeting discussed strategic relations between Oman and India as well as existing and potential partnerships in various areas, including technology, military and mining cooperation and economic, investment, trade and cultural relations.

Sayyid Badr offered the Sultanate's congratulations to the Republic of India for its successful hosting of the G20 meetings.

There was also an exchange of views on current regional and international issues. The meeting agreed on the commitment of the leaderships of Oman and India to pursuing constructive policies based on dialogue and international cooperation.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Sheikh Ahmed Almaskari, Head of the Oman Foreign Ministry's Department for the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf and the Region; Amit Naranj, India's Ambassador to Oman and a number of Omani and Indian officials from both sides.
