Foreign Minister receives Foreign Minister of Hungary
Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Ministerof Oman met with Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, on the sidelines of the 27th Joint GCC-EU Ministerial Council in Muscat.
The meeting reviewed relations between the two countries. It also discussed aspects of cooperation and ways of promoting further cooperation, particularly in the fields of trade and economic diversification, renewable energy and the production of green hydrogen.
The Ministers also discussed a range of regional and international issues.
The Ministers signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on low-carbon hydrogen and renewable hydrogen. The MoU underlines the keenness of the two countries to continue promoting bilateral cooperation.
The meeting was attended by Munthir Almantheri, Head of the Foreign Ministry's Europe Department; Sheikh Ahmed Hashil Almaskari, Head of the GCC and Regional Department and officials from both Oman and Hungary.
