Foreign Minister receives call from Syrian Foreign Minister

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, received a phone call from Dr Faisal Al-Miqdad, Foreign Minister of the Syrian Arab Republic, during which the ongoing bloody events against the Palestinian territories in Gaza were reviewed.

The Ministers discussed the regional and international efforts being made to contain the escalation and to ensure the humanitarian needs of the population in Gaza are met.

They agreed on the importance of stopping the Israeli aggression and resorting to peaceful options based on the equitable rule of law and international legitimacy.
