Foreign Minister receives call from Swedish counterpart

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, received a phone call today from Tobias Billström, Foreign Minister of Sweden.

During the phone call, Sayyid Badr denounced the desecration of the Holy Qur’an in Sweden by extremists.

Sayyid Badr also stressed the importance of ending incitement to hatred, violence or discrimination against beliefs.

The two Ministers agreed on the importance of promoting values of dialogue, tolerance and respect among nations and cultures.
