Foreign Minister receives call from PLO Secretary

Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, received a phone call from Hussein Al Sheikh, Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organisation, during which they discussed the current developments in Palestine and their repercussions as a result of the brutal Israeli escalation against Gaza.

The meeting also reviewed the regional and international efforts being made to calm the situation, to stop the aggression, to release detainees and to open humanitarian relief corridors for the people of Gaza.

The discussion emphasised the importance of a political solution to the Palestinian issue to achieve a just and comprehensive peace in accordance with international law.
