Foreign Minister receives call from Jordanian Foreign Minister

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, received a phone call from Dr Ayman Al Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The Ministers reviewed developments in the diplomatic and political effort to stop the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and to secure a truce that would allow relief supplies to flow into the people of Gaza.

During the call they also discussed the dangers of continued military escalation and the worsening humanitarian situation.

They also exchanged views on a number of serious regional challenges that are expected to be discussed at the extraordinary Arab summit to be hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia later this month.
