Foreign Minister meets with Moroccan counterpart

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi met today in Muscat with Nasser Bourita, Foreign Minister of Morocco.

The two ministers agreed to hold the next session of the joint Omani Moroccan committee to further enhance cooperation programmes in various fields and to explore more opportunities for economic partnership.

On a political level, the two sides affirmed their common vision,  calling for dialogue and constructive cooperation to address various issues and so achieve peace and stability among nations and peoples. They also exchanged views on a number of developments in the Arab and international arenas.

The meeting comes in the context of long-standing brotherly consultation and bilateral cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Morocco

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Khalid Almuslahi, Head of the Minister's Office, Ambassador Tariq Al-Hussaisen, Morocco's Ambassador to Oman and a number of officials from Oman's Foreign Ministry.
