Foreign Minister meets with Chair of Yemen Presidential Leadership Council

Oman's Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, met with Dr Rashad Al Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council of the Republic of Yemen, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The meeting discussed the long standing and friendly relations between Oman and Yemen, reaffirming the support of both countries for all efforts to achieve security and stability in Yemen. Sayyid Badr and Dr Al Alimi expressed hope that ongoing efforts would contribute to reaching a consensual political solution to the Yemeni issue, preserving Yemen's independence, territorial integrity, and sovereignty.
