Foreign Minister meets Norwegian counterpart

Oman's Foreign, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, met in Muscat today with Anniken Huitfeldt, Foreign Minister of Norway.

The two sides reviewed areas of bilateral cooperation and ways to enhance cooperation, especially in the fields of economy, renewable energy, and climate and green economy transition. They also exchanged views on various regional and international matters of mutual interest.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the two Ministers signed a renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding for political consultations between the two friendly countries.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Khalid Almuslahi, Head of the Minister’s Office Department; Thomas Lid Ball, Norway's Ambassador to Oman and officials from both sides.
