Foreign Minister meets Nepalese Prime Minister
Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi held a meeting with K P Sharma Oli, Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, as part of his official visit to the friendly Republic of Nepal.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the Sultanate and Nepal, and how to open new avenues for cooperation in various fields for the mutual benefit of the two friendly peoples.
The discussion also focused on opportunities to enhance economic and trade cooperation, particularly in the fields of tourism, mining, agriculture and cultural exchanges.They agreed on the importance of exchanging expertise and encouraging joint investments.
The Ministers reaffirmed the need for close cooperation between their countries to address common challenges and to promote peace and stability in the region and the world.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Issa Alshibani, Oman's Ambassador to India and Nepal and Ambassador Sheikh Abdulaziz Alhousni, Head of the Foreign Ministry's Asia Department, as well as various Nepalese and Omani officials.
