Foreign Minister meets Indian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs
Oman’s Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi received this morning, Shree V. Muraleedharan, Minister of State for Foreign and Parliamentary Affairs of the Republic of India, who is on a visit to the Sultanate.
During the meeting, aspects of existing cooperation between the two friendly countries were discussed, stressing the two sides' interest in developing bilateral relations in various fields, especially in the economic, commercial and scientific fields. The two sides also touched on a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
Sayyid Badr offered his congratulations to the Republic of India on assuming the presidency of the Group of Twenty (G20) for the next year.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Khalid Almuslahi, Head of the Minister's Office Department; His Excellency Amit Narang, India's Ambassador to Oman and a number of officials from both sides.
