Foreign Minister meets Belgian Foreign Minister

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, met with Hadja Lahbib, Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs, International Trade, and Federal Cultural Institutions in the Kingdom of Belgium, within the framework of the Joint Ministerial Council meeting between the Gulf Cooperation Council and the European Union, which is being held in Muscat.

During the meeting, relations between the two countries were reviewed, as well as various aspects of cooperation and ways to enhance such cooperation.

Both sides praised the current cooperation between Oman and Belgium and agreed on a shared desire to promote cooperation in all fields.

The Ministers also discussed regional and global developments of common interest.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Munther Almandhari, Head of the Foreign Ministry's Europe Department as well as officials from Oman and Belgium.
