Foreign Minister holds political talks with Kuwait Foreign Minister
Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, held a session of political talks with the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al Jaber Al Sabah, at the Foreign Ministry in Muscat today.
The two sides reviewed the distinguished relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to develop them to achieve benefits for the two countries and their two peoples.
They also discussed their hopes for the success of the work of the ninth session of the Omani-Kuwaiti Joint Committee hosted by the Sultanate of Oman, stressing the importance of raising the pace of bilateral cooperation in various fields.
The two Ministers also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common concern.
The talks were attended from the Omani side by Ambassador Khalid Almuslahi, Head of the Minister's Office and Ambassador Sheikh Ahmed Almaskari, Head of the Ministry's Department of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf.
Also present from the Kuwaiti side were Salem bin Ghassab Al Zamanan, Assistant Foreign Minister for GCC Affairs; Nawaf Abdul Latif Al-Ahmad, Assistant Foreign Minister for Minister's Office Affairs; Mohammed Nasser Al Hajri, Kuwait's Ambassador to Oman and a number of officials from both sides.
