Foreign Minister holds meeting with Syrian counterpart

Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister held a meeting, with Dr. Faisal Mekdad, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic.

The meeting was held via video-conferencing on the sidelines of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly.

The Ministers reviewed joint relations and the means of promoting cooperation in a spectrum of fields, including economic and cultural spheres.

The two sides also exchanged views on a range of issues of mutual interest. They also underscored the importance of backing efforts to achieve peace, security and stability in Syria.
