Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Albusaid spoke at the G20 meeting in Delhi today. He offered an Omani perspective on peace making, with its guiding principles, rooted in more than one thousand years of practical experience in water sharing, that reflect tolerance, dialogue, non-interference, and good neighbourliness. He also spoke of the importance of giving voice to the concerns of the Global South, and expressed confidence that intensive multilateral engagement can speak to the polycrisis of supply chain disruptions, debt distress, geopolitics, as well as the challenge of climate change.
