Foreign Minister discusses de-escalation with Jordanian Foreign Minister

During a phone call this evening, Oman's Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi and Dr Ayman Al Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs of Jordan, discussed the regional and international efforts being made to stop the escalation of the current crisis between Israel and the Palestinians in Gaza.

They focussed on the importance of protecting civilians from the repercussions of the crisis.

The Ministers agreed on the importance of adhering to reason and seeking a political solution based on the rules of international law and the right to self-determination.
