His Majesty meets with Prime Minister of Netherlands

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik met with Dick Schoof, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, at the Prime Minister's Office in The Hague.

The meeting reviewed the close historical relations between the two friendly countries and ways to strengthen them for the benefit of the Omani and Dutch peoples.

It also covered areas of economic and investment cooperation, and included an exchange of views on current international developments and issues of mutual interest.

Following the meeting, commemorative photos were taken of His Majesty with the Dutch Prime Minister, in the presence of the King and Queen of the Netherlands.

The meeting was attended from Oman by His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, and from the Netherlands by Caspar Veldkamp, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
