Oman participates in launch of GCC's regional security vision
Oman, represented by the Foreign Ministry, took part in the launch of the Gulf Cooperation Council’s vision for regional security at a ceremony organised by the GCC's General Secretariat in the Saudi capital Riyadh under the patronage of Secretary General Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi.
Oman's delegation was headed by Ambassador Sheikh Ahmed bin Hashel Al-Maskari, Head of the Foreign Ministry's GCC Department.
The Cooperation Council's vision aims to maintain the regional security and stability of the region and the prosperity of its people. It also aims to address the challenges it faces, transform them into opportunities for development and prosperity and enhance international security through settling disputes peacefully.
