Oman's Ambassador to Iceland presents credentials
The President of the Republic of Iceland, Gudni Jóhannesson, met Oman's Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Badr Mohammed Badr Almantheri, in the Icelandic capital, Reykjavik, to receive his credentials as Oman's Non-resident Ambassador to Iceland.
The Ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Al Said and His Majesty’s wishes for good health and happiness to him, the government and the people of Iceland for continued progress and prosperity.
The President asked the Ambassador to convey his sincere greetings to His Majesty the Sultan wishing him continued health and wellness and stressing the importance of raising the level of commercial, technological and tourism cooperation between Oman and Iceland.
The Ambassador expressed the keenness of Oman to strengthen relations between the two countries and to advance cooperation in all fields including tourism, fisheries and green energy in ways that serve their common interests.
