Foreign Minister receives Honorary Consuls of Oman
Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, held a meeting in Muscat today with the Honorary Consuls of the Sultanate of Oman to: Portugal, Slovakia, Zimbabwe, the Philippines (Manila), the Principality of Monaco, USA (Pittsburg-Pennsylvania), Italy (Milan), Germany (Munich) and Lithuania.
The meeting was held within a framework of visits organised by the Foreign Ministry for Oman’s Honorary Consuls abroad.
The meeting reviewed means of enhancing cooperation between Oman and their respective countries. It also touched on possible opportunities for partnership.
The Honorary Consuls expressed their thanks to the Foreign Ministry for inviting them and organising their visit programme, which includes meetings with officials in the government and private sectors to introduce them to Oman’s economic directions and policies within Oman Vision 2040 and the promising opportunities on offer.
The Honorary Consuls also visited Oman’s pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai. They praised the cultural heritage and future vision for the Sultanate of Oman, especially in the field of sustainability, the environment and opportunities for economic and tourism diversification.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Khalid Almuslahi, Head of the Minister's Department and a number of officials.
