Diplomatic Undersecretary receives German Omani Association delegation

Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs, received a delegation from the German-Omani Association.

The delegation is visiting the Sultanate of Oman to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Association.

During the meeting, the delegation explained the Association's activities in Germany and its efforts to introduce the Sultanate of Oman to the people of Germany. The declared aims of the Association are promoting friendship, mutual understanding and a new coexistence of cultures between Germany and Oman.

Sheikh Khalifa expressed his appreciation for the role played by the Association in furthering Omani-German relations, assuring the delegation of the Foreign Ministry's full support for its work and activities. The Diplomatic Undersecretary talked about the economic and tourism potential of the Sultanate, which the delegation listened to attentively, as information of great value for the Association and the German people.
