Diplomatic Undersecretary receives Dutch Energy Minister

Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs, received today Dr Michel Heijdra, Assistant Deputy Minister for Climate and Energy Affairs at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

The meeting took place during Dr Heijdra's visit to attend the Green Hydrogen Summit, which is currently being held in Muscat.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed relations between  Oman and the Netherlands, especially in the fields of renewable energy and green hydrogen. They also discussed the mechanism for implementing the memorandum of understanding in the field of energy that was recently signed between the two countries.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Abdullah Alriyami, Acting Head of the Western European Department and Stella Kloth, Ambassador of the Netherlands to Oman.
