Diplomatic Undersecretary meets Netherlands Cyber Security Ambassador

Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs, received Nathalie Jaarsma, Ambassador at large for Security Policy and Cyber for the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

During the meeting, views were exchanged and cybersecurity topics were discussed as part of an initiative on electronic diplomacy in the Middle East.

Ambassador Jaarsma is visiting the Sultanate to participate in a regional meeting, currently being held in Muscat, to implement a dialogue on electronic diplomacy.

The meeting was also attended from Oman's Foreign Ministry by Ambassador Humaid Almaani, head of the International Affairs Department and Ambassador Abdullah Alriyami, in charge of the work of the Western Europe Department.  From the Netherlands side it was attended by Stella Kloth, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Sultanate of Oman.
