Diplomatic Undersecretary meets Korean Trade Minister
Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs, met today with Ahn Duk-geun, Minister of Trade and Investment of the Republic of Korea.
The meeting took place during the Undersecretary’s visit to Korea for a meeting of the Oman-Korea political consultation committee.
The Undersecretary and the Minister discussed enhancing bilateral cooperation between Oman and Korea, especially in the fields of energy, trade and investments.
The Korean side expressed interest in Oman’s promising opportunities in the green hydrogen sector and in investing in related industries. The two sides agreed to organise visits for Korean business executives to explore investment and tourism opportunities offered in Oman.
The meeting was attended by Zakariya bin Hamad Alsaadi, Oman's ambassador to the Republic of Korea and a number of officials from both sides.
