Oman welcomes results of UNRWA evaluation

The Foreign Ministry stated that the Sultanate of Oman welcomes the report issued by the independent committee evaluating the performance of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).

The Foreign Ministry said it appreciates UNRWA's efforts to provide vital assistance and basic services to Palestinian refugees.

The Ministry reiterates the steadfastness the Sultanate of Oman’s continuing support for the brotherly Palestinian people and pledges to work by all political and legal means to establish justice and peace and to achieve a permanent, comprehensive solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict based on the two-state solution, international resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
